Thermal Imaging can help provide important information about areas of the structure or components that are usually inaccessible.  IR Thermal Imaging is an advanced, non-invasive technology that allows the inspector to show clients things about their home, building, appliance or other components that can't be revealed using conventional inspection methods or with the 'naked' eye.   When used in conjunction with conventional inspection methods and other tools, IR Thermal Imaging allows an inspector to dive deeper into those areas for information not typically visible by normal observations or by inspectors that does not offer this service.

IR Thermal Imaging technology has its limitations, just like other tools and technologies.  Thermal Imaging cameras are not  X-ray cameras and they can not see through walls or any other objects nor does they permit inspectors to see through any other type materials.  Neither do they detect or determine gases or chemicals.   IR Thermal Imaging cameras simply detect differences in surface temperatures.  These variations shows up as "hot" or "cold" spots on the camera lens and such differences may indicate a hidden issue that could have been overlooked using typical inspection technics alone.  However, this makes adding our IR Thermal Imaging service to your original inspection report an invaluable addition to the report.  It will ensure that your already critical inspection report is more detailed and complete.
